# ALTERNATIVE NAME 1: Statement 1 - The group came to the consensus view that we should not be more generous in our asylum seeking policy but rather tighten up the process in order to stop economic migrants from entering the country posing as asylum seekers. The participants felt that the UK could not continue to provide the level of services that they currently are for the number of asylum seekers entering the country at the moment.
